Steve Aimable

My MMA journey started in March 2009. I competed around 20 times as an amateur with mixed success but that’s what it’s for. I turned pro in October 2012 winning by head kick TKO and joined BKK Fighters in late 2013.

I am very consistent in my performances and will continue to do so. I am contracted to Cage Warriors and am looking to fight for the Cage Warriors Featherweight Belt again in 2022.

I started Muay Thai when i was 9 years old. My family was always active taking part in various sports such as swimming, football, athletics etc but nothing really stuck like martial arts did. My brothers did a bit of boxing and one day my dad took me training with them. Fell in love with it from day one. Had my first fight age 9 and stopped 3 people on one night including a 14 yr old. Won my first title when i was 10 and it was the first of many many titles.

I managed to win 5 titles between the age on 9-12 including the IFMA world title in turkey when I was 12. But then i took I break from training for about 2 years. I changed gyms to the Knowsley Academy as I outgrew my previous gym and it was one of my best decisions as my Thai coach Chris Knowles helped me win 23 more titles including Europeans, British and 3 more world titles.

I also made my transition to fighting pro Muay Thai and fighting ranked opponents. I am now pro ranked 1 in the UK. I started MMA when i was 17 at the beginning of 2019 at team underground. That was a decision that would change my life for the best. I started BJJ training and MMA training with no initial thought of ever fighting MMA. However April 2019 i made my MMA debut at cage warriors academy on 5 days notice and won. First round TKO.

I had 20 fights in 2019 and won 18 of them. In Muay Thai i have 100+ fights. II won the Cage Warriors academy belt in October with my best performance which was hug. This year I've had 7 outings and won 5 if them. Next year I plan on turning pro and hopefully fighting for the professional Cage Warriors events. From there winning their Strawweight belt is my goal which will put me in the picture of getting signed with the UFC and ultimate goal is to be UFC Strawweight Champion.

I have been training mixed martial arts for just over a decade and eventually had my amateur MMA debut at 15 years old. There really isnt anything else like it!

From then I carried on competing and training hard, I moved around a few different gyms until I found BKK fighters where I’m currently training under coach Jack Mason.

I eventually finished my amateur career with a record of 9 wins and 2 losses and picking up a few titles at a few different shows. It was after that my coach decided I would turn pro!

Im proud of the things I’ve accomplished so far as a professional mixed martial artist like fighting on the main Cage Warriors show and picking up the Cage Warriors academy flyweight title. I’ve also had some other great experiences like getting the opportunity to fight abroad and meet some great people along the way.

There is still so much I want to achieve and cant wait to show everyone exactly what I’m capable of!!

As an Amateur I won 2 national titles at flyweight and bantamweight. Since turning pro I took the fight anyone anywhere path competing on nearly all of the top promotions in MMA (Brave, Bellator, Cage Warriors, Bamma).

I have fought some of the best guys in world and shown I am at that level, a win streak this year I believe will see me knocking on UFCs door.
